			51. SAINT GEORGE He lived during the reign of Diocletianus. He was born in Cappadocia, son of Christian parents and he was educated in a truly Christian spirit. He was tortured to deny his faith: hit with a spear, pressed with large stones on his chest, put on a wheel, ordered to wear nailed shoes, beaten with an ox vein, made to drink poisoned drinks, and many others. Seeing him remain unscathed, many people started to belive in Jesus. His image while he was fightings the dragon urged people to join the Christians' fighting against the Ottomans and the devil.
