			39. THE SAINT APOSTLE ANDREW He was Peter's older brother and the oldest of Jesus' apostles. At first, he was John the Baptist's disciple. He left John when this one said " this is the lamb of God, he that will take the sin of this world ". He spread the Christian faith to Bithinia, Byzantium, Tracia and Macedonia, to the Black Sea, the Danube, to Scythia and Crimeia. He was crucified on a "X" shaped cross in Patras, Greece.
