			26. THE HOLY TRINITY This icon is the image of the first presentation of the Holy Trinity in the Old Testament. This happened in the presence of Abraham, near the oaktree of Mamvri and took the appearance of three young men who had come to visit him. On this occasion God blessed him for his hospitality and promised him that He would make him the "father of many people" and would make his descendants as many as "the stars in the sky".
