			19. SAINT IGNATIUS He was a disciple of Saint John the Baptist. He is said to have been the boy whom Jesus held into his arms and told his disciples: "Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. And whoever shall receive one such little child in my name, receives me". Saint Ignatius was very faithful. Learning this, the Emperor sent for him and had him brought to Rome to be thrown to the lions. His bones were recuperated and kept by Christians.
